Issue 14

sunbury-matters-issue-14

The clocks have gone forward, the buds are on the trees, the sun has been shining and I for one am excited about the months of opportunity ahead and all that brings with it!

It is during the cold, wet winter months when I see people out pounding the streets in preparation for the London Marathon that I am filled with admiration at their tenacity. Take a look at the article on page 12 looking at the Marathon from two perspectives. Please support Ben and Richard in their endeavors if you can.

I am even more in awe of what they are going to go through because of a challenge of a challenge I am doing myself. I am preparing for the much tamer Moon Walk on May 12th. In involves WALKING the Marathon route, even that prospect makes me nervous! More on that next month, and how my dogs paws survived my training walks!

Enjoy the sunshine and Easter break.
