Our Goals

  • To support local business
  • To connect local residents with local trades and business

The publisher, Monica Chard, is a resident of Lower Sunbury, and has lived in the area for over 15 years. Sunbury Matters was founded in 2011 when we decided that our community needed a better and more locally focused link to encourage local residents to use local trades.

Many small businesses are in our midst, and we may not know they are there. Sunbury Matters offers a solution, enabling them to get their message right into the homes of potential clients, and letting residents know about the wealth of services on their doorsteps.
